Money Making Alternatives to Adsense

Home

You’ve probably found this site because you’re either having problems with Google Adsense or you simply would like an alternative.  You’re in luck because there are many alternatives to Adsense, although none are quite as profitable at this time.  Although Adsense is still by far number one, there has been some progress into chipping away at Google Adsense’s market share.

Why not just use Adsense and Adwords?
Adsense is great but it doesn’t do everything.  You can’t hand pick specific websites to advertise on, if you’re looking to advertise through Adwords.  Therefore, you’re stuck paying whatever cost per click you’ve chosen on Google Adwords.  You’ll find some publishers are willing to give you ads on their websites for a much lower cost than Adwords.  If you want the best of both worlds, you can uses services such as AdHitz.com for advertising and still monetize your site with Adsense.

Banned: Maybe you’ve been banned by Adsense for violating one of the TOS. Many people who running dating sites have found that users have posted “adult content” on their site and it has been discovered by one of the Google Crawlers.  If this happens to you, you will likely get banned from using Adsense permanently and there is virtually nothing you can do.

Login Only: This won’t get you banned but it can be very frustration and might seem impossible to fix. You keep resubmitting your site to Google and they will keep rejecting it. You’re site isn’t mostly “login only”, yet Google thinks most your pages require login. I’ve personally got my account rejected for this reason and I had to search for hours and hours to finally figure out what to do, as I show you in the login only section.  Also, don’t bother trying to use another website on your account, even if it has NO log-in, your site will still get rejected due to log-in only because of the previous site. There is no way around it, you have to fix the login issue with your original site. If you want to be thorough, I recommend you read the entire login only section starting with Displaying ads on login protected pages. If your simply looking to find the solution as fast as you can, read my tutorial to add a crawler login to your Google Adsense enabled site.

Insufficient Content: This is actually pretty easy to fix in most cases. It basically just means you’re site lacks enough “text content” for the Adsense Crawler to sufficiently determine the topic of your site and pages within. Add content to as many pages as you can, especially the home page. Also, add alt and title tags to your images. This will help the crawler determine what ads should be show that relate to your sites content.

Other issues: Lack of support.  Other advertising companies have much better support than Google. They’re the big dogs and you have to play by their rules and their rules are not always fair. It can be difficult even to get a response from Google.
